We always advise a port can take 24 hours, however it should be instant. There are a couple of steps you can do that should help to push the port through.
- Restart your device. – keep doing this every now and again. It helps to pull the information down from the network.
- Hard reset. Turn the handset off, remove the sim card and leave for 10 minutes. Put the sim back in and restart.
- Manual roam – Go into settings > data settings > network selection/Carrier services (slightly different depending upon the handset) turn automatic off. The handset will then search for networks. Select the network you are on when it appears and see if this kickstarts the service. If it does, restart the device and switch it back to automatic.
